Old-School Retro Gamers: Archive.org has Nintendo Power

Postby Azaael » August 5th, 2016, 6:24 am

Okay, so Archive.org went and uploaded a whole bunch of classic Nintendo Power magazines here:

https://archive.org/details/nintendopow ... collection

Like, these bring me WAY back. I mean I'm one of those folks from Valle's time, so for me, coming home from school and playing the NES was a regular affair in the '80s to early '90s(which was then replaced with the SNES and Genesis. ) I had these magazines and I don't have the hard copies anymore(long lost from years of moving, including an overseas move), so getting these again is super-duper-nostalgic. I only have the hard copy of an old Official Nintendo Player's Guide. Some of these are a blast from the past. I used to like coming home from school every couple months to a new issue.

Not sure if anyone here is a retro gamer(I play retro games pretty avidly, they're probably some of my most played games besides fighting and JRPGs and the odd MMO), but if so, enjoy!

Yeah, you just told your age. Same era for me. I never had Nintendo Power magazines though. :D Did you ever play Atari or ColecoVision? :)
